Sarah Gillard

An award winning artist, BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Textiles, Sarah was born into a family of artists in Kent in 1962. Her love of painting began during my early career when I joined the Liberty Design Studio as a colourist for the fashion fabrics. It was my first introduction to painting in gouache, a superb medium for colour mixing which I continue to use today.

My passion for nature and beauty have led me into the wild flower meadows, gardens and to travel to the Mediterranean, inspired by the glorious sea not to mention the odd donkey!

My work has been exhibited in some major public galleries and published into prints and greeting cards sold worldwide.
