John Brunsdon Art Cards
John Reginald Brunsdon (1933 - 2014) was born in Cheltenham and studied at Cheltenham College of Art from 1949 to 1953. In 1955 he enrolled at the Royal College of Art where his tutors included Julian Trevelyan and Edward Bawden. From 1958 to 1963 he taught portrait painting part-time at St Albans School of Art and later established a printmaking department at the same college. He moved to Suffolk in 1977 and died in Ipswich in 2014. His etchings are in major collections worldwide including the Tate Gallery and the V & A.
