David Brayne

David Brayne was born and raised in Lincolnshire and studied at Nottingham School of Art, Gloucestershire College of Art and Exeter University. His work has been exhibited widely, both in mixed and one-man shows. He works on paper and canvas, mixing his own paint from raw Italian pigments and acrylic gels to produce a characteristic luminosity. He was elected a member of the Royal Watercolour Society in 2001 and was the Featured Artist in the RWS Spring Show 2009.
