Gary was born in Canada in 1957 and was taught and mentored by Sybil Andrews at the Grosvenor School of Art in London. His work was shown alongside her work during and after her lifetime. Building on his Grosvenor School experiences, he seeks to give printmaking 'painterly' qualities, with a rich palette and intense colour.
